Getting started with just for U®

With a just for U® account you can find over $300 total savings* each week in Coupons & Deals. Your account is free and can be created online at Safeway.com or Albertsons.com.

Why are you asking for my email and store location?

By providing your email address you will receive exclusive weekly offers right to your inbox. Including which items to purchase for the most Points to new Rewards you can earn that week. We value your privacy and would never spam you. You can always unsubscribe from receiving emails. We ask for
your primary store location to best match your offers to your closest Albertsons/Safeway stores.

Do Points and Rewards expire?

Yes, Points convert to Rewards in increments of 100 (100 Points = 1 Reward). At the end of each month,
any Points less than 100 will expire. Rewards expire at the end of the month following the one in which
they were earned. For example, if 225 Points are earned in January, 25 Points would expire 2a.m. local time on February 1st. The remaining 200 Points automatically convert to 2 Rewards and are available
for use until they expire at 2 a.m. local time on March 1st.

I shop online. Do just for U® offers apply there?

Yes, your current just for U® offers will apply when you shop online, provided that the account you set up
for our online grocery ordering service is linked to your just for U account. The savings will be reflected
on your final receipt at the time of delivery or pickup. If you do not see your just for U® savings reflected on your final receipt, or if you have any questions on this process, please contact our Grocery Delivery Customer Support Center toll free line at 1-877-505-4040.

Is there a difference between Gas Points and Grocery Points?

No, you earn a single type of Points that, when converted to Rewards, can be used for discounts on
gas at participating fuel stations or for discounts offered on certain grocery items from Albertsons Companies grocery banner store locations and mobile apps.

Once I’ve added offers to my Loyalty Program account, how long will it take for them to be available to redeem?

Offers can be redeemed at checkout as long as you add them to your Loyalty Program account prior to purchasing or claiming the applicable item. You may add offers to your account while shopping in the store; however, please note that new accounts require 15 minutes for activation. Sometimes a delay
can happen depending on the quality and speed of your Internet connection.

Why do I have to register for just for U®?

Your just for U®account will track your Points towards qualifying rewards. Without an account you will not be able to earn Points towards rewards.

Registering also makes it easier to save on the items you already love to buy. just for U® provides personalized deals and coupons on your favorite items. All you have to do is add them to your Loyalty Program account either online or in our app prior to in-store or online checkout to have your savings applied upon purchase—no clipping of coupons needed. Please note that using multiple accounts to exceed limits on offers and promotions is not permitted. We reserve the right to terminate accounts if
we believe they are used for such activities.

* Eligible purchases exclude: (1) beer, wine and tobacco (and spirits in certain states); (2) fuel and automotive services; (3) bus passes, commuter passes, fishing or hunting licenses, postage stamps, lottery tickets; (4) all fluid items in the refrigerated dairy section—including fluid dairy substitutes. Sales tax payments and redemption value deposits are not purchases and are not eligible to earn points. Only out-of-pocket pharmacy costs (for example, prescription co-pays) are eligible to earn points. Program may be discontinued or changed at any time without notice.
